- Category 0: 80-100% transmission (colorless lenses).
- Category 1: Lenses with a light tint, suitable for general use.
- Category 2: Lenses with a darker tint, appropriate for medium brightness.
- Category 3: Dark lenses, comfortable for full sun (transmission between 8% and 18%).
- Category 4: Very dark lenses, recommended for high brightness conditions (high mountains, desert).
